I'm here today to announce our most popular house selling promotion of the year.

As we head towards Christmas buying and selling a house does fall down the list of priorities and most people will think rightly that you might as well wait till the beginning of the year to put your house on the market

well you're not wrong but there is a big BUT

although December is our quietest month of the year for basically everything from viewings to houses coming on the market there is one date you do not want to miss.

And that is Boxing Day

The busiest day of the year for rightmove is Boxing Day and you may find that surprising but if you think of it logically its a day most people are off work and over Christmas a few things happen.

People might get engaged people have family over and realised their house is too small perhaps an elderly relative comes to visit and you persuade them to live nearer. OR you've received a brand new iPad and you download the right move app.

This causes a mass influx of enquiries and unfortunately the majority of people wait til January to put their house on the market missing this influx of people searching.

So we launch what we call ‘the do not disturb campaign’

How does it work?

between now and the 2^nd week of December we come to your house, take all the photos and videos and get your home market ready. We hold it back and launch it on Christmas eve. That way when the influx of buyers come to the market they will see your home on the first search page of rightmove.

Why do you call it do not disturb.

We call it this because most people don’t want viewers walking round there house over Christmas, rushing around tidying etc. Kicking Granny out for an hour. So we qualify and take all the leads over Christmas and we book them in for the new year.

It’s a win win. You don’t miss all these new buyers searching, your also not competing with all the new year new home sellers as there not on the market yet and it also gives you time to get the decorations down before we show some buyers around.
